A representation from Dr. K.K. Aggarwal, member, Delhi Medical Council, forwarding Advertisements published by Dr. Raman Kant Aggarwal, Orthopaedic Consultant, Medanta-the Medicity in Ist Edition of Hindustan Doctor’s Yellow Pages 2013, in violation of Regulation 6.1.1. of Indian of Indian Medical Council (Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Ethics), Regulations, 2002, was examined by Delhi Medical Council.
The Delhi Medical Council held that the advertisements published by Dr. Raman Kant Aggarwal, Orthopaedic Consultant, Medanta-the Medicity in Ist Edition of Hindustan Doctor’s Yellow Pages 2013, was in violation of Regulation 6.1.1 of Indian of Indian Medical Council (Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Ethics), Regulations, 2002, however, since, Dr. Raman Kant Aggarwal, Orthopaedic Consultant, Medanta-the Medicity expressed regret and has given an undertaking that he will not indulge in such activities in future, he is advised to be careful in future and refrain from indulging in such activities.
