Minutes of the Forty-Seventh Annual General Meeting of the General Body of National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development held on 09th February, 2016.

Forty-Seventh Annual General Meeting of the General Body of  National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development (NIPCCD) WAS HELD AT 12.30 P.M. ON 09 February 2016 in the Institute. Smt. Maneka Sanjay Gandhi, the Hon’ble Minister of Women and Child Development and President, General Body of NIPCCD could not attend the meeting due to some urgent work and authorized Shri V. Somasundaran, Secretary, MWCD and Vice-President of the General Body to chair the meeting. The meeting was presided over by Shri V. Somasundaran, Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India and Vice-President of the General Body.

2.         List of members present is at Annexure-I,. List of members from whom apologies for absence were received is at Annexure-II.

3.         At the outset, Dr. Dinesh Paul, Director and Member-Secretary welcomed Shri V. Somasundaran, Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development and Vice-President of The General Body of the Institute; Shri N. Vijaya Kumar, Vice –President and the members of the General Body. Thereafter, with the permission of Chair, the following agenda of the meeting was taken up.

Item No. I: Confirmation fo Minutes of the Forty-Sixth Annual General Meeting of General Body of the Institute held on 12 February, 2015.

4.         Member-Secreary informed that the minutes of the Forty-Sixth Annual General Meeting of the General Body were circulated among all members and the Institute did not receive any comments on the same. However, President invited comments of the members, if any, on the minutes of the Forty-Sixth Annual General Meeting of the General body held on 12 February, 2015. Since no comments on the minutes were received, the same were confirmed.

Item No. II: Report on Action taken on the Minutes of the Forty-Sixth Annual General Meeting of the General Body held on 12 February, 2015

5.         The General body took note of the action taken on the points arose out of the minutes of the Forty-Sixth Annual General Meeting of the General Body of the Institute held on 12 February, 2015.

Item No. III    To Approve Annual report of the Institute of the year 2014-15

6.         The General Body was informed that the executive Council has approved and recommended the Annual Report 2014-15 of the Institute for adoption by the General Body. The General Body considered and adopted the Annaul Report including audited Annual Accounts of the Institute for 2014-15.

Item No. IV: To Note Highlights of the Programmes undertaken in the Institute during 2015-16 (upto January 2016.)

7.         A brief presentation was made by DR. Dinesh Paul, Director, NIPCCD on the highlights of the programmes organized during the year 2015-16 (up to January, 2016) before the members of the General Body. The General Body appreciated the work done by the Institute during the year 2015-16.

Item No. V: To Consider Revised Estimates 2015-16 and Budget Estimated 2016-17 under Non Plan and Plan.

8.         The Executive Council considered the actual expenditure incurred in 2014-15, Revised Estimates 2015-16, Budget Estimates 2016-17 and the estimated receipts and recommended the following for approval of the general Body.

The General Body considered and approved the above as recommended by the Executive Council.

9.         The Meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the Chairperson of the meeting and other members of the General Body.
