"IMA National President, Dr. Santanu Sen, MP, addressed the gathering in protest of brutal murder of Dr. Deben Datta of Jorhat, Assam, on 3rd Sept at Guwahati, led the Candle March.
Then he caught a train to go to Jorhat travelling whole night from Guwahati. On 4th he along with his team comprising of Past HSG, Dr. R . N. Tandon, Honorary Jt Secy, Dr. Sibabrata Banerjee, Honorary Finance Secretary Dr. Ramesh Datta & State Leaders of Assam IMA, went to meet the bereaved family, placed demands before Press & submitted Memorandum to Deputy Commissioner of Police."
